Flee From The Wrath, pink, M 19"p2p, 24"s2h, 29"c2c

£34.00

As a young kid growing up in Bury going into Manchester was an amazing experience. It was like going to a different world. Walking through Market Street up towards Piccadilly Gardens you used to see some real characters. Piccadilly Gardens used to attract some odd balls. It was an interesting place and nice to have some green space amongst the hustle and bustle. It’s changed a lot now since all the regeneration and redevelopment. I remember it used to be a place where some religious people would be preaching, screaming and shouting about the approaching judgement day and resulting armageddon wearing a sandwich board or holding a sign. You don’t see as many of these people anymore. I wonder where they have gone or if its more an internet thing now. Those people made quite an impact on me because the language was so powerful and so different from the everyday. Miss it in a way people trying to save my soul. Like the CND marches you don’t see it much anymore. Ah well. Anyway you can’t beat a Bible quote and one of my favourites is Flee From The Wrath To Come so I printed some up.

Handprinted on a preloved vintage pink sweatshirt, with red eco ink.

Measures: 19” pit to pit, 24” shoulder to hem and 29” collar to cuff.
