JS Bach, teal, L 24"p2p, 25" s2h, 29" c2c
I always find it sad when people say they don’t like classical music. It’s like saying they don’t like reading. Discovering new likes and passions is what life is all about. If you don’t like reading, you just haven’t found the book or author to turn you onto it. It’s the same with classical or jazz come to that. You just haven’t found the composer or the piece to open up the beauty. You don’t have to understand it, you just have to enjoy it. As I’ve got older I listen to more classical music. I still don’t understand it, I just know it’s some of the most beautiful and magical sounds I have ever heard. JS Bach is probably responsible for quite a lot of the classical music I listen to most. His music is so important to me. To think he was composing work of such imagination, complexity and absolute beauty in the early/mid 1700s always staggers me. Genius is so over used these days. Its bestowed on people with such little talent. JS Bach is a true colossus of civilisation. Beyond genius. Give him a listen it might be the introduction you need.
