No Pirlo, sage, L/XL 23"p2p, 26"s2h, 32c2c

£25.00

When I was a kid playing football in the park I was never very good at keepy uppys. I was always a little bit suspicious of lads who were better at keppy uppys than actually playing. What I loved what passing the ball. Keeping possession, keeping the ball until space is created. Finding a pass that released a player and created a chance. I loved a fantastic pass more than a fantastic finish. The way I see it the pass that creates a chance is the act of creation. My favourite players were midfield players with an eye for that killer pass. I loved Glenn Hoddle. I’m sure if he was French or Spanish he would have won so many more caps. Of recent players the stand out player is Andrea Pirlo. I loved his style of play. Lying deep in midfield keeping the ball, rotating possession until releasing that pass. His patience and vision were unrivalled. In possession he always had time and was always available. He played like a quarterback with his range of passing. Seeing passes that no-one else saw and that took opposition players out of the game. Loved him. Unfortunately two of his best most outstanding matches were against England in Euro 2012 and the World Cup of 2014. He totally bossed both matches. We couldn’t get near him. What a footballer. Anyway I printed some sweats.

Handprinted on a preloved vintage sage sweatshirt, with black eco ink.

Measures: 23” pit to pit, 26” shoulder to hem and 32” collar to cuff.
